TREATMENT

The essence of Players In The Sun is what Venice means to the few that know it so well. Through on-camera interviews, each performer will reveal their personal accounts of the journey that led them to the shores of Venice Beach. Through amazing and sometimes bizarre circumstances, each true-life story will reveal trials and tribulations that can’t be expressed in written word.

The documentary will profile the performers utilizing the following shooting sequences:

·      A visual tour of the area.

·      Interviews with the performers and artists of Venice Beach.

·      Interviews with the residents and tourists of Venice Beach.

·      An interview with City Councilman Bill Rosendahl.

·      Performance footage of all subjects.

·     Acquisition of historical footage of Venice Beach performers.

·      Soundtrack will include music from local Venice bands and street musicians.
